I have had many people ask me how do you know when it is time to get my carpet cleaned?  While there is not black or white answer to this question I can offer up some tips that will help you decide when you are ready to have someone come out and do your carpet cleaning in Seattle.  The ways I can tell when I need to clean my carper is when I notice there has been a lot of traffic in one area of my carpet.  High traffic areas tend to get quite dirty quite fast and need special attention as opposed to less trafficked areas of the carpet.  When I notice the carpet is starting to get matted down in one spot I know it’s time to start thinking about someone doing my carpet cleaning in Seattle.

Another way I can tell my carpet is in serious need of a good cleaning is when I can see dirt or stains on the carpet.  This tends to be a bigger problem with lighter colored carpet as the dirt and stains appaear more vividly than dark colored carpet.  Once your carpet has a few stains it is definitely time to think about getting your carpet cleaned so that you can protect the carpet and keep it around for as long as possible.

While it is ultimately up to you when you decide you want to clean your carpets I do have two small rules of thumb that I like to follow as a gauge on when I should hire someone to clean my carpet.  As soon as I notice a high traffic area being matted down and looking like it is suffering from wear and tear then I will look to get that area of my carpets cleaned.  Also, when I notice several large stains or a lot of dirt on my carpet I will also get out the yellow pages and start looking for a company to hire to come out and clean my carpet for me.
